AUTOMATED BOOKING SERVICE
IVR is the new 'Interactive Voice Response' system, which has been designed to save you time when requesting a taxi. When calling from a land line you can avail of this service which will automatically answer your telephone call enabling you to book your own taxi in as little as five seconds - without even speaking to an operator.

DATA / DESPATCH
All jobs are despatche to the data unit which eliminates radio noise in the taxi.

GPS
GPS stands for 'Global Positioning System', the facility by which we use satellite tracking to monitor vehicle movements. The advantages of GPS are huge: increased efficienct, reduced response times.

DRIVER BARRING
If a driver does not take action and allows a document/licence to expire, the system will actually stop them from working by not allowing them to log on, therefore protecting the customer.

CALLER ID
When a customer calls fonaCAB, their telephone number automatically appears on the Booking Screen along with their details.

CALL BACK

For your convenience you can now prepay your taxi by credit card. Payment must be made at the time of booking.

SMS TEXT ALERTS
The innovations by fonaCAB continues. With the new text back service, fonaCAB will text your mobile phone when your taxi arrives and will also give you details of the car type and registration number. No more guessing which CAB is yours! Get home safe and request text back when booking.

Continuing the commitment to providing the best possible accounts service, fonaCAB are delighted to introduce a new Internet Booking System.

i-Booking is fantastic news for account customers using centralised booking. Unlike other on-line booking systems, the fonaCAB i-Booking systems allows you to access the system directly and in real-time, ensuring that the customer is always in control.

The system is extremely advanced, allowing you to select locations from a database of 20 million business and residential addresses. You can set up regular pick-up points that can be easily recalled for future bookings, and you have secure online access to your account details and previous journeys at the touch of a button.

Each account customer has a unique password to access the system and can then make bookings or cancellations and receive immediate confirmation.
